Jeff and Abby think Sara Runkel is guilty. Tim's mother put a toothpick in his sandwich, and when Sara bit into the sandwich she had, she said, "Ouch." Also, when everyone said, "Cheese," Jeff and Abby saw seeds in her teeth.

When Sara realized she'd been caught, she told Tommy she was sorry. She slept late and forgot her sandwich, so she took his. "Stealing makes you feel worse than all those tiny seeds between your teeth," she said. To make sure she gets up on time, she's going to start going to bed earlier. And to make up for the trouble she caused Timmy and Tommy, she made a peach pie and brought them each a piece. "I promise you won't find any seeds in there."
